Schulze, Chief Executive Officer   Andreas joined Neurotune as CEO in 2006 after accumulating several years of industrial experience. His professional background is in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry. After a start as research scientist at the Marion Merrell-Dow Research Center in Strasbourg, France he served, from 1996 through 2000, as vice president and deputy head of research and development at Pentapharm in Basel, Switzerland (now DSM Nutritional Products Ltd). From 2000 to 2005 he headed the biotech investment team at the German Venture Capital firm DEWB AG in Jena. Andreas managed a sound portfolio of biotech start-up companies in various stages and guided them successfully through their product development as well as into next financing. Andreas studied biology at the University Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany. He conducted his Ph.D. thesis in biochemistry with Prof. Robert Huber (Nobel Laureate 1988) at the Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried, Germany.
